Basement Remodel

A Space to Create

When the homeowners reached out to us looking to turn their unfinished basement into a place to create art, we knew we had an exciting project on our hands. The final product couldn’t have turned out better. As you step into the spacious walkout basement your eyes are immediately drawn to the custom built-in bookshelves in a bold playful color. There is not an inch of wasted space despite the 9’ ceilings – even the topmost shelves can be easily reached thanks to the fully functional rolling Library Ladder. Large windows and a sliding door allow natural light to flood into the room, highlighting the spacious, open layout of the space. The bathroom offers another unique pop of color and features a large vessel sink which makes crafting clean-up a breeze.

More Room for Him and Her

These customers reached out wanting more “personal space” in their already tight bathroom. With some layout changes, we were able to accommodate their request by removing a large built-in jacuzzi tub and replacing it with a spacious walk-in shower with dual shower heads. No longer needing the existing glass shower in the corner of the bathroom, we were able to use this space for an additional vanity and give them the space they needed. We also swapped out their wire closet shelving for custom particle board shelving for a more efficient use of shelves and hanging rods.

Wildfire Remodel

No Wasted Space

In order to make this bathroom more functional, we removed a built-in jacuzzi that was taking up valuable real estate and replaced it with a massive, fully tiled zero-entry walk-in shower, complete with a new transom window and half-glass wall that allows an ample amount of natural light into the bathroom. We installed a new linen closet with motion-activated lights in place of the old shower, and still had room leftover to extend the vanity countertop and add an additional open cabinet for convenient towel storage. A fresh coat of paint on the cabinets and some custom trim work around the mirrors make the entire vanity feel like it’s all a part of a single piece of furniture. To top it off, we added some flair to the Master Bedroom by installing a double-sided fireplace with a beautiful stone surround in Master Bedroom, connecting through to the Great Room.

Fir Hollow Lane

This multi-faceted remodel includes quite a number of projects.  Beginning in the kitchen, you will see refinished kitchen cabinets featuring newly added full extension, soft-close drawers and soft-close hinges for all doors.  All existing recessed lighting was upgraded to energy efficient LED lighting. New Cambria Quartz countertops neighboring the subway tile backsplash and under cabinet lighting lends just the right amount of ease for any kitchen enthusiast.  Luxury Vinyl Tile flooring is integrated throughout the kitchen, dinette, powder bath and entryway. New carpet for the family room provides the perfect cozy touch to enjoy the refreshed fireplace for many Nebraska winters to come.  Large format tiles and a new custom mantel above the existing fireplace, offer just the contemporary look the homeowners were aiming to achieve.  The entry presents a custom newel post to match the fireplace mantel, new balusters and a new poplar skirt board to frame out the stairway.  The half bath rejuvenation boasts new plumbing fixtures and updated customer selected lighting and mirror.

Master & Hall Baths

We modernized both the Master and Hall bathrooms, while keeping the traditional feel of this home. The customers selected similar vanity cabinets, which boast Stone finishes on different Oak species and two varying color choices of Cambria Quartz countertops. Different accent tiles in each shower provide a touch of charm.  The natural tile selections for the flooring and shower surrounds appeal to any eye.  The counter-to-ceiling mirrors allow a remarkable backdrop to open each space. The master bath shower doors feature tempered glass EnduroShield protectant technology. Each bathroom is polished off with touches of Satin Nickel throughout.

Master Bathroom Remodel

This master bathroom remodel features humble, contemporary touches throughout; worthy of many Pinterest pins. Drawing inspiration from a modern design esthetic, these homeowners opted for light wall and shower tiles and a dark floor tile. With clean lines framing the vanity sinks, the warm wood adds a slight rustic touch. This steam shower includes a Starphire glass door with Enduroshield technology. Both the bathroom and shower floors are equipped with heated floors. This eye catching space, reminiscent of a luxurious hotel stay, is one that these homeowners will enjoy for many years to come.

We were very pleased with the quality of the work in our master bathroom remodel. Brian and his team did a great job of guiding us through our first renovation process, from designing a space that is more functional for us to every finishing detail. He provided designs that reflected exactly what we asked for and suggested an alternative design we hadn’t thought of, which we ended up selecting. His crew was organized, clean, and respectful of our space, and he and his team were very communicative, returning our calls and emails promptly. He and his team were also very cooperative and flexible in working through change orders. We would love to work with Brian again! – Chris & Jessica Kortum

Historic Woods Avenue

If you love all things rustic-modern this remodel is a must-see! The homeowners of this 1940’s home pursued a distinct rustic-modern design throughout the main level. The original, outdated kitchen and powder bathroom lacked the continuity and functionality to tie in with the rest of the house. The owners’ vision was brought to life by reconfiguring the breakfast nook, kitchen and dining area to achieve an open layout and create a seamless flow!

Here are some of the beautiful updates that made this project one of a kind:

  • Added cabinet and counter space by reconfiguring windows
  • Installed an Anderson over-the-sink window to increase lighting
  • Recessed lighting throughout & under cabinet lighting
  • Cambria Quartz countertops, Kohler cast iron apron sink
  • Full over-lay Marquis cabinets with dovetail drawers
  • Full accent tile wall with rustic floating shelves

Old Dominion Remodel

You have to see it to believe it! We were able to bring this dark, outdated home back to life by adding gorgeous classic-modern finishes without ruining the integrity of an already well-built property. In the kitchen, we capitalized on storage and made the space feel much larger by adding additional lighting and white cabinetry. The owners wanted to optimize the existing space for entertaining, and we were able to achieve that by installing an oversized island in this open-concept layout. Did we mention their new en suite fit for a king and queen? The master bathroom boasts his and hers vanities and offers all the functionality any homeowner could demand. With ample storage, a custom tile shower and plenty of private space, there is nothing left to be desired.

Here are some of the beautiful updates that made this project one of a kind:

  • Custom cabinetry with custom accessories throughout
  • Installed custom range hood stack
  • Carrera Marble throughout master bathroom
  • Cambria Quartz countertops, solid oak wood floors
  • Added all new commercial style Kitchen Aid appliances

Lynchburg Court Remodel

This remodel completely changed the look of this 1990s home. The owners were going for a bright and airy concept that would allow for open sight lines through the majority of their main level living space. They wanted to keep their design classic and clean while adding a touch of modern farmhouse. We reconfigured their floor plan by removing a wall between the kitchen and dining room, scaled back the pantry, completely reworked the mudroom, updated the powder room and added a brand new updated kitchen with a massive island for entertaining!

Here are some of the beautiful updates that made this project one of a kind:

  • Updated main level with all new engineered wood floors
  • Installed a gorgeous 12 foot island that serves as a focal point
  • Quartz countertops, Marguis white shaker cabinets
  • Added lockers in mudroom for storage & functionality
  • Installed apron farmhouse sink and added farmhouse finishes throughout
