Prescott Ave Remodel

Good Job, Great Room

Step through the front door of this inconspicuous home and behold our latest masterpiece. Eyes are immediately drawn to the impressive floor-to-ceiling backlit bookshelves with spacious custom-built cabinets flanking a newly upgraded fireplace. Multiple inset mantles add a one-of-a-kind touch to the impressive stone fireplace surround, complete with a recessed TV and sound bar for a sleek entertainment set-up. A new sliding door in the Great Room and updated windows throughout the remodeled areas all feature built-in blinds for whenever privacy is needed. The kitchen features stunning white semi-custom cabinetry with the largest island we’ve built to-date; it is nearly 15’ long with the ability to comfortably seat 10 people. An abundance of natural light illuminates the kitchen thanks in part to a clever use of transom windows in lieu of traditional tile backsplash. Flush countertop pop-up outlets, a secondary prep sink, and a separate drink station are just a couple of the unique features that make this Kitchen perfect for entertaining guests and hosting parties.

Wildfire Remodel

No Wasted Space

In order to make this bathroom more functional, we removed a built-in jacuzzi that was taking up valuable real estate and replaced it with a massive, fully tiled zero-entry walk-in shower, complete with a new transom window and half-glass wall that allows an ample amount of natural light into the bathroom. We installed a new linen closet with motion-activated lights in place of the old shower, and still had room leftover to extend the vanity countertop and add an additional open cabinet for convenient towel storage. A fresh coat of paint on the cabinets and some custom trim work around the mirrors make the entire vanity feel like it’s all a part of a single piece of furniture. To top it off, we added some flair to the Master Bedroom by installing a double-sided fireplace with a beautiful stone surround in Master Bedroom, connecting through to the Great Room.

Alpha Phi Sorority House Remodel

It was an honor for us to return to the UNL Alpha Phi Sorority house for another spectacular remodel!

Little was left untouched as the snack bar, dining room, and back exterior were brought to life. A modern and sophisticated upgrade was achieved in the snack bar with new Cambria quartz countertops, tile backsplash, ceramic tile flooring, and custom laminate cabinetry. In the dining room, an abundance of natural light was created by replacing the center window with an extra-wide French bi-parting door. The dining tables were revamped with new premium laminate tops and custom powder-coated leg covers.

To complete the “modern glam” aesthetic, fresh paint, new light fixtures, and new carpet were installed. The door hardware — as well as the interior and exterior railings — were renewed with a powder-coat-finish. The back patio was extended to accommodate more outdoor seating, and the chimney grill was transformed into a charming planter.

From the kitchen to the patio, we hope the girls at Alpha Phi create lasting memories in the space for many years to come!

Lincoln Condo Remodel

In the Heart of Husker Nation

Located in the Heart of Husker Nation, this condo was originally intended as a tailgate crash pad, but quickly transformed into a home away from home for this out-of-state couple.

Even though square footage was tight, there was no limit to the level of detail worked into the design — in fact, there wasn’t a surface or fixture left untouched. The remodel upgrades include all new casing, interior doors, flooring, cabinetry, countertops, appliances, plumbing fixtures… and the list goes on!

This compact condo was reconstructed to maximize all available space. A dropped ceiling in the kitchen was replaced with brand new floor-to-ceiling custom cabinetry. The raised ceilings are further highlighted by the addition of the recessed electrical fixtures that illuminate every room. The second bedroom was transformed into a mixed-use den with a custom built-in desk. The room now easily transforms into private guest quarters by expanding the pullout sofa and sliding the custom barn door closed. Custom glass shower doors showcase the detailed tilework in both bathrooms.

From the master suite to the open-plan living quarters, this condo offers every comfort of home — while being only steps away from the game-day action!

Alden Ave Basement Remodel

Featured in the 2019 Tour of Remodeled Homes

The homeowners of this charming country club classic wanted to transform their basement into the perfect space for hosting and entertaining guests. The original basement setup lacked functionality, and simply wasn’t living up to its true potential. To bring the homeowners’ vision to life, we optimized the space by re-configuring the large utility/laundry room to add a 4th bedroom with egress window and walk-in closet. Additionally, the bath was updated with a new vanity and luxurious standing shower. A generously-sized wet bar replaced a storage room in order to truly maximize the entertaining space of the living area.

Wittstruck Kitchen Remodel

No stones were left unturned in this custom kitchen addition! The center of attention is a beautiful long island, adorned with remarkable and durable Cambria quartz countertops and undermount sink. The dishwasher and pullout trash located in the island offer convenience and ease. Gorgeous views can be seen from the kitchen and dining thanks to an extra wide sliding glass door.

Storage is definitely not lacking here. On top of the additional custom cabinetry, these homeowners opted to add not one, but two walk-in pantries! One of these pantries is even equipped with an additional standing freezer and beverage fridge. Even the dog was taken into consideration in this design with a special dog door created next to the pantry. More storage is offered in the mudroom with Lockers and a drop zone with lazy susan. Just outside the mudroom is a mini bar complete with a wine fridge. This is definitely a must see kitchen, be sure you check it out in the 2019 Tour of Remodeled Homes!

Fickens Basement Remodel

Once an unfinished basement, this space now offers a cozy and sophisticated spot to relax. The sleek, modern electric linear fireplace with stone surround will be sure to keep these homeowners warm. The murphy doors, disguised as shelving on either side of the fireplace, offer an elegant and innovative doorway solution. With Cambria quartz countertops, subway tile backsplash, accent tile and custom cabinetry, the bar provides a chic entertainment area. The quartz countertops and tile floor seen in the bar area carry over into the bathroom, giving a cohesive feel throughout. The shower boasts a tile surround with accent inlay and built in shelving. Brushed nickel hardware give the perfect finishing touch to this desirable basement bath.

Englewood Remodel

A remodel fit for HGTV. To start, we knocked out the wall separating the living room from the kitchen, rendering efficient flow and an open concept. Carpet and vinyl flooring were replaced with charming hardwood floors. Fresh paint and white trim offer the space a light and airy feel. The kitchen was updated with stylish white cabinets and brushed nickel hardware. Stunning Cambria Quarts countertops pull together the cabinets and mosaic backsplash perfectly. An added island featuring a beautiful farmhouse sink, complete the Pinterest-worthy look.

Master & Hall Baths

We modernized both the Master and Hall bathrooms, while keeping the traditional feel of this home. The customers selected similar vanity cabinets, which boast Stone finishes on different Oak species and two varying color choices of Cambria Quartz countertops. Different accent tiles in each shower provide a touch of charm.  The natural tile selections for the flooring and shower surrounds appeal to any eye.  The counter-to-ceiling mirrors allow a remarkable backdrop to open each space. The master bath shower doors feature tempered glass EnduroShield protectant technology. Each bathroom is polished off with touches of Satin Nickel throughout.
